Our Play & Nature-Based Curriculum

Play is the highest form of research.” – Albert Einstein.

We are a Montessori-Reggio Emilia inspired school.

We use a Montessori and Reggio Emilia-inspired curriculum that supports whole-child development through:

  • Play-based learning that encourages social and emotional growth
  • Cultural inclusivity, where every child’s background is celebrated
  • Daily outdoor exploration, letting kids connect with nature—touching grass, dirt, and plants
  • Nature-based STEAM projects that develop sensory and fine-motor skills through hands-on experiences

Full STEAM ahead!

By implementing STEAM into our curriculum, students get a feel for what they may want to become later in life and develop skills that they can use in Primary or Secondary school settings. By introducing them to the different STEAM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, & Math) students get a grasp at what different career choices they can have and what they can do on as a hobby or personal interest.

A Milestone in Early Education: The First WASC-Accredited Preschool

We are honored to be the first preschool in the entire Accrediting Commission for Schools (ACS) to earn WASC accreditation. This groundbreaking achievement sets a new standard in early childhood education and demonstrates our commitment to excellence, accountability, and innovation.

WASC accreditation is a rigorous process typically reserved for K–12 schools and higher education institutions. By achieving this distinction, we have paved the way for preschools everywhere, proving that even the earliest stages of learning deserve the highest standards of quality and care. Families can feel confident knowing their children are part of a program that not only nurtures growth and curiosity but also upholds the same level of academic and developmental integrity recognized worldwide.
